Ariel joined the Economic Development team in 2021, after previously working in other states with local residents, governmental departments, non-profit agencies, and business organizations to develop solutions to pressing issues within those communities. Today, her primary role is to lead business attraction, retention and expansion efforts while advancing countywide business development and quality of life enhancement programs. As a proud Wayne County native and current resident, Ariel is eager to give back to the community that she has been a part of for so long. Ariel holds a Bachelor of Science in Urban Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Nevada Las Vegas, and is currently working on attaining her Masters of Public Administration from Syracuse University.
