The Wayne County Planning Board is an advisory board composed of representatives appointed by each of the 15 towns in the county. The board's purpose is to review applications on local projects referred by town and village boards, including planning and zoning boards. For each applicant referral, the County Planning Board recommends one of the following actions when considering these projects: Approval with Comments, Approval with Modification, Disapproval, or that the referral has no significant countywide or inter-community impact. Applicants are welcome to attend these meetings to answer questions about their project. 

These are OPEN MEETINGS where the public can attend and listen, but they are NOT Public Hearings. The public may have a chance to speak about a project, but only at the discretion of the Chairperson. Agendas for each meeting will be made available in the upper right Agenda tab (shown here) prior to the meeting. Minutes of each meeting will be posted along side the Agenda for that month.
